Dil mera hai nasamajh kitna
Besabar , yeh bewakoof bada
Chahta hai kitna tujhe
Khud magar nahi jaan saka
Iss dard-e- dil ki sifarish
Ab kar de koi yahaan
Ke mil jaaye ise woh baarish
Jo bhiga de poori tarah
Afternoon time ........
The sound of rain and filled the entire Kapoor mansion.
The rain was heavy and cruel.... strong wind blew across , while thunder and lightning showed no signs of repentance...
Meanwhile ,
Aarna sat near the window of her warm lighted room, highlighting the important notes for her upcoming college presentation. Her hair was tied in a messy ponytail , large strands of hair covered her beautiful face and a cup of cold black coffee sat untouched beside her scattered books....
For Aarna, life was quite simple.
Itwas just her and her College and the freedom and independence.
She had spent years building a future plan for herself. A future where she would stand on her own feet, create her own identity, and make her parents proud of her....She was the only child of her parents....
And
Marriage?
That was something she had planned for much later.
Much, much later.
"Aarna?"
Bacchi.....
Her mother's voice pulled her away from her deep thoughts.
She than looked towards the door of her warm lighted room...
Her mom was standing over there...
"Come in, Mom why ate you standing by the door way."
She smiled and then entered Arana's room, but Aarna was quick enough to noticed something was unusual...Her mother was a bit quiet...
Her mother looked nervous yet she behaved as if nothing was wrong with her..
Aarna narrowed her eyes as if she could clearly understand... what's the matter! And suddenly she spoke....
"Okay... why do you look like you're about to tell me I failed an exam?"
Nandini laughed softly almost amused....
"You're impossible, Aarna."
"That's my talent," Aarna replied, wicking at her mother and then smiled....
But her smile faded when her mother sat beside her, gently.
"There is something we need to discuss, about ."
The sudden seriousness in her voice made Aarna put her notebook aside.
"What happened?"
Nandini took her hand gently and began to rub her palm.
"Your father and I received a proposal for you."
Aarna blinked.
A proposal.
The word itself felt too sudden.
"Proposal?"
Okay, but what kind of proposal....
There are many kinds of proposals like-
Her mother nodded and said in a tired and calm tone.... it's just a......
"Marriage proposal."
Silence filled the room.
For a moment, Aarna thought she had heard wrong.
What? Mom....
Marriage proposal !!
"Mom... I'm twenty-one."
Just twenty,-one.
"I know."
"I'm still in college."
"I know."
"I have plans."
Nandini smiled sadly.
"And we don't want to take those plans away from you."
Aarna looked confused.
"Then why are we talking about my marriage?"
"Because this isn't just a normal proposal Aarna..."
You need to understand , bacchi
Across the city...
The Raichand Group headquarters stood tall among the skyscrapers of Mumbai city
Inside the top-floor office, Aadhvik Raichand sat behind his desk, reviewing documents and deals.
While his assistant placed another file in front of him.
"Sir, your father requested you attend the family dinner tonight."
Aadhvik didn't look up and replied in his usual cold tone.
"I have meetings."
"He specifically said it's important for you to attend."
Aadhvik finally lifted his gaze from the scattered files.
His assistant immediately became quiet.
Everyone knew that look.
Aadhvik Raichand was not a man people could easily argued with.
Fine...
"I'll go."
Get the car ready..
That evening, both the Kapoor and Raichand families gathered at the Raichand mansion.
While Aarna adjusted her outfit nervously as she entered the grand house.
Everything about the place screamed luxury ....
The huge entrance.
The expensive interiors.
The silence.
She suddenly felt like she didn't belong there.
"Relax," her father whispered from behind...
"I'm relaxed," Aarna replied calmly...
Her father than replied,"I can see that clearly, bacchi."
A second later she added,
"Okay, maybe I'm not."
Her father smiled.
I knew it....
Before she could say anything else, she heard footsteps.
The entire room became slightly quieter.
Aarna looked up.
And for the first time...
She saw him.
Aadhvik Raichand.
Tall.
Confident.
Handsome
The perfect definition of Greek God
Dressed in a perfectly tailored black three piece suit.
His expression was cold and unreadable.
He looked exactly like the kind of person who belonged on magazine covers—not sitting across from a college student discussing over some silly marriage.
Their eyes met for a brief moment.
Aarna looked away first.
Not because she was nervous.
Because she had already decided one thing.
This man was quite impossible to understand...

Dinner passed in a glance with some old conversations between the two families.
Finally, Rajveer Raichand, the head of the family spoke.
"We all know why we are here."
Aarna's fingers tightened around her glass.
Aadhvik remained silent.
"The promise between our families..."
Twenty years ago.......
Rajveer than continued,
"We want Aadhvik that is my elder son and Aarna to get married."
The words felt like a blade cutting through the silence within .
Aarna looked at her parents.
Then at Aadhvik.
Surprisingly, he looked just as shocked.
"I wasn't aware the decision was already made," Aadhvik said calmly yet his anger was visible.....
His father looked at him.
"It was never about forcing you both!."
But the decision is already made... and there is no turning back....
Aadhvik's eyes moved towards Aarna, the girl sitting over there witnessing the ultimate chaos...
For the first time, she saw something different in his expression.
Not arrogance.
Not anger.
Just uncertainty.
Aarna took a deep breath
Everyone was waiting for her reaction.
And then she spoke,
"I need some time."
Her voice was soft but clear.
Aadhvik looked at her again...
Most people avoided disagreeing in front of him.
But she didn't.
And somehow...
That caught his attention.

Later that night,
Aadhvik stood alone at the terrace of Raichand mansion.
A marriage.
A new responsibility.
A complete stranger soon becoming his wife.
He had handled billion-dollar companies.
He had faced competitors.
But somehow, this felt different.
It was something he never knew existed....
Suddenly a text popped.....
Meanwhile, Aarna sat in her room, staring at the ring box his parents had given her at the dinner..
Oh! God what the hell is happening.....

Two strangers.
Two different worlds.
One decision.
Neither of them knew that this arrangement would slowly become the biggest chapter of their lives.
Because sometimes...
The person you never planned to meet becomes the person you never want to lose.
To be continued............
