Morning arrived quietly over the city, but the peace was nothing more than just an illusion.
At the Malhotra estate, the sun spilled it's golden colour through tall glass windows, illuminating marble floors and grand pillars.
Servants moved silently through the halls, aware of the tension hung that in the air like an approaching storm.
In his office,
Ekarsh Malhotra stood by the window with a cup of untouched coffee in his hand.
His thoughts were restless because of Rudraksh's warning from the previous night which echoed in his mind.
Be careful of Rayan Srivastav, Yanshvi Singhania's closet man.
Ekarsh frowned slightly.
Rayan had always seemed insignificant - just another ambitious man trying to stay close to power.
Yet something in Rudraksh's voice had sounded different... almost uneasy.
That alone was enough to make Ekarsh suspicious.
Just then the door opened.
"A meeting already?" a soft voice asked.
Ekarsh turned and saw Aryta, his little chaos, leaning against the doorway of his office...
His expression softened instantly.
"You should be resting," he said.
Aryta crossed her arms.
"And miss all the drama in this house? Not a chance."
Despite the tension in the air, Ekarsh chuckled faintly.
She had always been like this - fearless and stubborn.
But then her expression turned serious.
"Something is happening, isn't it?"
Ekarsh didn't answer immediately.
He never liked involving Aryta in family conflicts.
But Aryta was not a child anymore.
Finally he sighed.
"Yanshvi Singhania is preparing to challenge us."
Aryta blinked.
"That girl again?"
Ekarsh nodded slowly.
"She's gathering support from other families."
Aryta's brows furrowed.
"But why would she suddenly attack us now?"
Ekarsh looked away.
Because the truth was... he didn't know.
And that bothered him more than anything.
Across the city,
at the luxurious Singhania mansion, Yanshvi Singhania was preparing for the most important meeting of her life.
She stood in front of a large mirror while a maid adjusted the dark blazer she was wearing with matching pants and dark black shiny heels.
Her reflection looked powerful.
Cold.
Untouchable.
But inside her chest, her heart beat faster than usual.
Today she would finally face the man she had hated for years.
Ekarsh Malhotra.
Her fists slowly clenched.
"Are you nervous?"
The calm voice came from behind.
Yanshvi turned to see Rayan Srivastav entering the room.
"Why would I be?" she replied.
Rayan walked closer.
"Because today you stand in front of the man who destroyed your life."
The words ignited the familiar anger and fire in her chest.
"No," she said quietly.
"Today I stand in front of the man who is about to lose everything."
Rayan smiled slightly at her words.
"That's the spirit."
Yet as he watched her walk away, his eyes darkened.
Because revenge had always been his plan.
Not hers.
Later that afternoon, the city's most powerful families gathered at an elite private business conference.
The atmosphere was tense.
Rumors had already begun spreading about the rising conflict between the Malhotras and the Singhanias.
At the center of the room stood Ekarsh Malhotra, speaking calmly with investors.
His confidence was effortless.
People respected him.
Feared him.
Trusted him.
But the moment the grand doors opened... the entire hall fell silent.
Because Yanshvi Singhania had arrived.
Every eye turned toward her.
She walked forward slowly, her heels echoing against the marble floor like a declaration of war.
When her gaze finally met Ekarsh's across the room...
Time seemed to stop.
For years they had existed only in each other's stories.
Enemies who had never truly met.
Now they stood face-to-face.
Ekarsh studied her carefully.
She was not what he expected.
There was something fierce about her presence - something powerful.
And something deeply wounded.
Meanwhile Yanshvi stared at him with burning intensity.
This was the man she had imagined destroying countless times.
Yet seeing him in person felt strangely different.
He didn't look like a monster.
But hatred refused to fade.
She walked directly toward him.
The crowd watched in silence.
Finally she stopped only a few steps away.
"So," she said coldly.
"The infamous Ekarsh Malhotra."
Ekarsh raised an eyebrow slightly.
"And you must be Yanshvi Singhania."
Their eyes locked.
The tension between them was almost electric.
"I expected someone older," she said.
"And I expected someone less dramatic," he replied calmly.
A few people nearby exchanged nervous glances.
This conversation could explode at any moment.
Yanshvi leaned slightly closer.
"You should enjoy this moment while it lasts."
Ekarsh tilted his head.
"Why?"
"Because soon," she said softly, "your empire will collapse."
For a brief moment... Ekarsh actually smiled.
"You're welcome to try."
Her eyes flashed with anger and bitterness
But before she could respond, another voice interrupted.
"Seems like I arrived at the perfect moment."
Both of them turned.
Standing behind them was Rudraksh Vardan.
And his gaze moved slowly between them.
Ekarsh frowned slightly.
Because Rudraksh standing beside Yanshvi...
Still didn't make sense.
Yanshvi noticed the look and smirked.
"What's wrong, Mr. Malhotra?"
"Surprised to see your best friend here?"
Ekarsh's voice became colder.
"Rudraksh doesn't belong on your side of the battlefield."
Rudraksh stepped forward calmly.
"This isn't a battlefield yet."
Yanshvi chuckled softly.
"Oh it will be."
And with that, she turned and walked away.
But as she did...
She couldn't shake the strange feeling lingering in her chest.
Because for the first time...
The man she hated didn't feel like the villain she imagined.
That evening, back at the Malhotra estate,
Aryta waited anxiously for some one.
When Rudraksh finally arrived, she immediately confronted him.
"Why were you with Yanshvi today?"
Rudraksh looked tired.
"I'm trying to prevent a war."
Aryta shook her head.
"You're getting too close to her, Aksh.....I mean Rudra- ....Rudraksh
For a moment something complicated flickered across Rudraksh's expression.
"You don't understand Aryta,....even he didn't pay any heed to Aryta calling him Aksh...
"Then explain," Aryta said firmly.
But Rudraksh remained silent.
Because the truth he was chasing...
Could destroy everything.
And everyone.
Far away in his private penthouse, Rayan Srivastav watched footage of the conference on his laptop.
He replayed the moment when Ekarsh and Yanshvi met.
Again.
And again.
A slow smile spread across his face.
"Perfect," he murmured.
Because hatred between them was growing exactly the way he needed.
Soon the war would begin.
And when it did...
No one would suspect the man pulling the strings from the shadows.
Not even Yanshvi.
"Yanshvi thought she was controlling everything but God forbade she is totally wrong" Rayan thought in his mind.
Outside, dark clouds gathered over th
e city indicating that the night just stretched in...
The storm was getting closer and closer till it would destroy the peaceful lives
And none of them were ready for what was coming next.
The Storm might destroy them or might bring them closer in a way that none of them expected not even Rayan.
